Just had a fantastic bouldering session, progressing consistently and it feels great. I started climbing in college, and only started slacklining after finding myself in San Francisco.  Climbing and slackline are both a physical meditation for me,  slackline just hadn’t caught on yet when I began climbing.  Don’t think I could tell you which I like better. For all the...

silenttransitions asked: Hi, I am pretty new to slack lining and have been using a lorry ratchet for the last 1-2months on and off. I climb in my free time and want to take my slackline experience to the next level. I am going to invest in a 25m Line that is 25mm but am unsure whether to go witha ratchet set or a primitive set up. Reviews and user advice are pussing me more towards a primitive setup due to their beter...

oddclimber asked: I slackline quite a bit (I've got my own kit, I've walked plenty of lines, needless to say I'm no newbie), but I want to learn to rig longlines and highlines. I don't believe abjectly throwing questions at the internet would be prudent or useful, so I was wondering if you knew people I could look for/could help me personally over asks or whatever. I'm competent with...

What a weekend!
So much pain in my body right now.  Highlining is amazing, but it sure makes for plenty of bruises.  Many thanks to www.balancecommunity.com for such an awesome weekend of Highlines, tricklines and water lines.  Buy your gear from them,  support someone who is really working hard to advance the sport!

How does a person get into slacklining?
asana-bliss: Or whatever it’s called. It’s just fascinating and inspiring and challenging and I feel like it could take you to really amazing places, mentally and physically. So… any suggestions? http://www.balancecommunity.com/Slackliner-Database  Find someone here that is in your area,  link up with them and give it a try.  When you fall in love with it,  get yourself a kit and start...
